Posted By: Bill H Sat, Mar 04, 2023 The cup is in a form and decoration that's been made in China for since at least the Qianlong reign (1736-95). The mark reads down and across from its top right in mandarin as "Mark of Yu Guangchang" (Yu guang chang hao - 余光昌號). Nothing relevant came from my Google search. From the overall look look of the decoration and glazing , it probably is circa 1900, and the lack of a character for "made by" suggests the mark is of a restaurant or porcelain vendor, not necessarily located in China. |

Posted By: plasticman Sun, Mar 05, 2023 This is a cup and cover from my collection. Certainly a form made for centuries. This done for the COURTAULD arms c. 1770. |

Posted By: Mark Adams Sat, Mar 04, 2023 I believe it's a Tongzhi mark. |
