| Here is a brief explanation of some of the questions you may have about
the Forum.
Do I have to register? You are not required to register to view or post messages on this board. However, we do not allow commercial advertising unrelated to the topic of the message board, and such messages will be removed by the editors at the editors' discretion. How are the messages formatted? Messages are formatted in two ways; you can select the one your prefer: Can I customize the forum in any way? You can set your preferences on how you want to view the messages: Can I add HTML to my messages? Yes, you can use HTML in your posts. This can be particularly useful in linking to images elsewhere on the Internet. This forum uses cookies to store the following information: the last time you logged in, your name and email address, and your preferred "board layout" and "number of days". These cookies are stored on your browser. No cookies are used to track your movement or perform any other function other than enhance your use of the bulletin board. If your browser does not support cookies, or you have not enabled cookies on your browser, many of these time-saving features will not work properly. No, please try to make sure your posting is correct before you post it. The forum administrators will only make changes in very special situations. You can link to other pages by using the Link URL and Link Title in the post an image forms. This allows you to refer to other pages (you can also use this to refer to another picture - put in the image address with the title "Click here for another image" ). You can also refer to an image already posted elsewhere on the web or upload a picture from your computer directly to the forum (see below). Can I show an image with my message? There are two ways of inserting an image with your message: (b) alternatively you can upload and image directly to the forum. Click on "Image" > "Choose File": browse and find the image you want to upload with your message. note: we have set a maximum allowable byte size of an image to 100KB. Images should be saved as medium compressed JPEGs, or GIFs. Can I show multiple images in the same message? This can be done if you already have your images on the web. You may search for specific posts based on a word or words found in the posts, user name, date. Just click on the "search" link at the top of most pages. Can I be notified by email if someone responds to my topic? When you post a message, you have the option of receiving an email notification every time someone posts a reply to your topic/reply. Just check the email notification box on the bottom of the post form when you post a message. |
