Mark reads,
余元昌號 - Yu Yuanchang-hao - Yu Guangchang Mark

Yu Yuanchang was a famous porcelain painter during the Guangxu and early Republic eras.

With regards,

Always happy to have the master clean up my messy translation. Agree with Mark Adams. it's not mark and period. Enamels appear too light.

Cheers,

Bill H,

The cup is in a form and decoration that's been made in China for since at least the Qianlong reign (1736-95). The mark reads down and across from its top right in mandarin as "Mark of Yu Guangchang" (Yu guang chang hao - 余光昌號). Nothing relevant came from my Google search. From the overall look look of the decoration and glazing , it probably is circa 1900, and the lack of a character for "made by" suggests the mark is of a restaurant or porcelain vendor, not necessarily located in China.

Below from my own colllection is a covered cup of similar form with dragon decoration made circa the same same time at Jingdezhen and marked "Precious Collection of Gold and Jade" (Jin yu zhen cang - 金玉珍藏).

This is a cup and cover from my collection. Certainly a form made for centuries. This done for the COURTAULD arms c. 1770.

I believe it's a Tongzhi mark.
But the item is not m&p. Possibly Mid 20th century as your images are a bit blurry.
