Hello, i have found this jar in a thrift store and wondered if it is chinese and if it has any age at all.

Hi. I've seen small bottles with similar clay and brown iron glaze. While some dealers attribute them as Ming, I'm pretty sure they are late 19th or 20th century utilitarian wares. I think that includes your jar - not that such wares shouldn't be collected.
