Subject:2 Prints to Identify

I have 2 prints that I believe to be woodblock prints which were given to me by a friend after her visit to Japan in the late 1970's. I am looking to translate any artist identification or date or really anything about these prints. The first one is on thin paper. The second (black patterned) is on a thicker, highly textured, almost wallpaperish-feeling paper.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think these are test prints of textile patterns on Japanese washi papers.
Markings on the fringes,

小 Ko　under a "yamairi" logo mark
(Stands for Kobayashi Company)
No. 117

Pic.2,
小紋　"Komon"　Fine-pattern
版権所有第百参拾四番　Copyright reserved No. 134
小　Ko　under "yamairi" logo mark
小林　Kobayashi

In all probability dating back to the 70`s.

Thank you so much for this information and for translating the characters. It makes so much sense, as the the designs are patterned for repetition. And thinking back about the person who gave me the prints, this is exactly what she would have been interested in on her trip to Japan so many years ago!
