Subject:Assistance requested translating kanji on Ko-Imari tea caddy
Posted By: Chris Mon, Jun 20, 2022 IP: 2600:8801:fb00:a16:f

Hello Once Again,

I once again return to humbly request assistance in translating kanji, this time on the underside of a tea caddy lid. The characters are underglaze, so I apologize in advance if they are difficult to discern or read, and thank everyone in advance for your time and assistance.

Kind Regards,
Chris

杉丸亭製 - Reading the mark is either Sangantei-sei - Made by Sangantei or Sugimarutei-sei - Made by Sugimarutei

It is an Arita (Imari) ware.

With regards,
I.Nagy
