I appreciate the recent expressions of concern about my absence, rehab and successful recovery from illness, during which time I was cut of from my PC and research tools. Back home again, I hope again to become an occasional contributor, including here with Bob's query.

A well known past contributor to the forum, beadiste, shows this pattern in his cloisonne blog likely as a Chinese product of the Beijing Jingfa cloisonne factory, which was built in 1956. His informative discussion of it hopefully will be of interest to Bob and others (LINK):

Best regards,

Bill H

Dear Bill,
We are happy to know that you have recovered from your illness.

Just want to share some Dragon & Cloud on a teapot, another cloud pattern on a small condiment dish and a cup having what I believe was Qing Guangxu era commemorative cloisonne wares showing the Qing and American flags in honor of an early 20th century American "white ship" visit to Chinese ports. Approximate dimensions are:

Teapot 6 in. diam.
Small condimentt dish 3 in. diam.
Small wine cup 1.5 in. diam'

Cheers,

Bill H.
