Good evening,
Picked these up at 2nd Avenue for #4.00 ea. Hoping to find out date and maker. Thank you for your help.

Believe these two marks, in order, read as follows:

藝華廠造 (yi hua chang zao)
"Made by the China Fine Arts Factory"

景鎮 (jing zhen)
萬同順造 (wan tong shun zao)
碑樓裡 (bei lou li)

(At) "Jingdezhen
Made by Wan Tongshun
In the Monument Building"

When looking for confirmation, I found that I.Nagy had labeled the same Wang Tongshun mark as Republic three years ago. The shorter first mark was not found in the Forum archives or online. While it may be Republic, the degradation of sculpting of this Budai image makes me think it could have been made in the early third quarter of the 20th century, perhaps in Taiwan.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Bill, thank you very much for your reply. Still hoping someone may have some info on the 4 character mark.
