Subject:Green Jade Buddha

Is this carved small (15cm) Buddha figure likely to be of jade, or most likely of another material ?

No.
It's highly probable to be resin or treated serpentine.
Tourist material.

I do have the same questions.
Hardness test; take a strong needle, using enough pressure to make a 2-3 mm scratch.You see a tiny white or black line.
Tell us which color it is
