Posted By: Bill H Tue, Sep 12, 2023 Blue circles like this are associated with the early Kangxi period (1662-1722). However, the painting on your ginger jar, particularly the detailing of the magpie amidst prunus blossoms, seems to stray from the precision of period artistry. See images below of a Kangxi plate from my collection.
