I'd be grateful to get any information regarding this metal vase, which I assume is Japanese.

It is c. 24cm high, and measures c. 6cm at the base.

Yes its Japanese mixed metal Bronze.
Dating to later Meiji to Taisho period. So 1900-1920's.
