This beautifully carved wood lotus leaf which is signed to the base - can anyone please help me identify the signature.

The signature reads Jade Stone 玉石.

You have not shared with us the dimensions of this object.

If it is the size I imagine, it was possibly made as a tea scoop for use in the Chinese tea ceremony.

Hi - thank you for your quick reply - the item measures approx 3.75".
