Hello,
I would like to inquire about two "Chinese" lanterns. The seller claims that they are old, but no further information is provided. I would appreciate your assistance in determining whether these lanterns are contemporary reproductions or genuine antique pieces before deciding whether to purchase them.
Is there any literature about chinese lanterns?

Not my area but these look later 20th Century rather than 'old'.

I spent four years in Taiwan in the late 1970s and again in the late 80s, Markets there were full of similar lanterns.
