Subject:Bronze gui vase
Posted By: Chris J. Sat, Apr 29, 2023 IP: 89.67.181.56 Any information about maker of this gui vase would be much appreciated. The signature looks to me japanese but the vase is in my opinion chinese from Guangxu period.

Posted By: Bill H Sun, Apr 30, 2023 The three-clawed dragon around your censer's mark strongly indicates Japanese manufacture. Defer to others more knowledgeable of matters Japanese for additional comments and possible translation of mark.

Posted By: I.Nagy Sun, Apr 30, 2023 The marking is definitely Japanese. There are several casters listed on the Japanese language net with a "Morishige" part in their names, so it is impossible to identify this particular one.
