Subject:Foo Dog Container

Hello,
I will appreciate your help in identifying this bronze(?) container. It looks like it could be an incense burner but it does not have any holes on the top. The Foo Dog is a lid that comes off. There is a mark on the belly of the lion. Thank you.

This undoubtedly is a fairly modern Chinese fabrication with a deteriorated second or later generation casting of a "Made in the Qianlong Reign" mark.
