Subject:Help translate seal on a vase
Posted By: Samir Sam Sat, Jan 15, 2022 IP: 2603:7000:1443:4400:

Hi Everyone, Please let me know if anyone could help me translate a seal on the bottom of a vase I've had for a while now. The vase has decent weight to it doesn't feel lite. I've never had any luck in the past trying to translate the text and recently found this forum. Hoping someone might be able to tell me its origin and if it maybe has some history.

Thank you.

I think it is Korean,
Reading,
正和官院 - Jeong-hwa gwan-won (Precise Harmony Official Compound)
The vase is probably a copy of an old imperial official kiln product.

With regards,
I.Nagy
