I suggest this is a reproduction of a painting by Zhao MengFu , a Yuan dynasty Chinese artist and calligrapher.

趙孟頫

Signature,
子昻趙孟頫 - Zi'ang Zhao Mengfu
Seal,
趙氏子昻 Zhao-shi Zi'ang (Master Zhao Zi'ang)

Zi'ang was his courtesy name

With regards,

19th century or a bit earlier painting to which was added a forged signature of a painter famous for paintings of horses. looks like on the left side was erased another inscription, so i would suggest it was not intended to be a forgery in the first hand.

Sorry, but it as an amateurish tribute to Zhao Mengfu, the Yuan Dynasty painter. Notice that all of the pine needles are treated with the same exact pattern, and the attempt to contour forms is wrong.
