Posted By: peter Sun, Nov 28, 2021 19th century or a bit earlier painting to which was added a forged signature of a painter famous for paintings of horses. looks like on the left side was erased another inscription, so i would suggest it was not intended to be a forgery in the first hand. |

Posted By: John Rohrer Thu, Dec 02, 2021 Sorry, but it as an amateurish tribute to Zhao Mengfu, the Yuan Dynasty painter. Notice that all of the pine needles are treated with the same exact pattern, and the attempt to contour forms is wrong. |
