These markings are on the bottom of a 10 " tall bronze piece

義忠殿 - Yoshitada-dono - Lord Yoshitada
大   - Dai - Great
極   - Kiwame - Top

Dear Steven,
What does the bronze represent at all ?
Lord Yoshitada was a military commander in the late Heian period.
Whithout seeing the picture of the satue (?) it is difficult to say anything.
