Subject:chinese text roller vase
Posted By: Fahre Fri, Oct 08, 2021 IP: 2a02:a03f:a2df:fb00:

Hello, I was able to buy this roller vase at a flea market.
Could you help me decipher the text written next to the drawing.
There is also a red mark under the base which I assume is apocryphal.
Thank you very much for your help

This is a hat stand.
喜报三元 - ca. Good luck for the three imperial examinations
劉榮盛書於珠山 - Painted by Liu Rongsheng at Zhushan
Bottom mark,
劉榮盛號 - Liu Rongsheng Mark

Liu Rongsheng
Republic of China (1920s) porcelain painter in Jingdezhen

With regards,

I agree with Mr Nagy.
It's a republican period hat stand.
The earlier ones (guangxu and earlier) had vent holes.
Nice example in great condition!
