Hi all, if anyone can provide a translation for the kanji on this Japanese painting/print. I'd be very grateful. Gerry

It’s the right sheet (most probably) of a kabuki multisheet composition (diptych or triptych) by Kunisada I, here signing “Toyokuni ga“.
Depicted is Iwai Kumesaburō III as Tamao hime (玉織姫) in the play “Renshō monogotari“, performed at the Kawarazaki theatre in Edo. Date is rat 3 (= c. 3/1852); publisher is Sanoya Kihei and censor seals are Mera and Watanabe.

Censors' seals,

Publisher's mark,
佐野喜 - Sano Ki (Sanoya Kiheei 佐野屋喜兵衛)

Utagawa Toyokuni II a.k.a Utagawa Kunisada

With regards,
