Posted By: Eduard Brummer Sat, May 08, 2021 IP: 92.64.77.160

Good evening Everyone,

The attached pot is assumedly Delft but has a Chinese mark on the bottom. Can it be identified or is it fake? Thanks for looking

Not Delft, not Chinese, but Japanese Imari ware.
The mark is displayed upside down and reads: Tezuka (or Tetsuka) 手塚 Kinsei 謹製, meaning "Carefully made by Tezuka" or "Tezuka quality product", both are possible.
Date 1920 - 1940.
Regards,
Martin.
