Subject:Old Japanese Silver Hallmark?

These lovely little (4") bud vases are handmade of sheet silver rolled and hammered and soldered, and then soldered to silver bases. Punched hallmarks appear on the bottom. We guess the items to be 20th C, with the rounds at the bottom perhaps reflecting an early century arts and crafts sensibility. Our best guess is that they are Japanese. Any thoughts that would help place the pieces in context or that would help decode the hallmarks would be greatly appreciated.
