Subject:help read chinese or japanese text on ancient print

Can you tell me what the text and the signatures mean on this old painting on paper, and possibly date it?
The scene looks chinese but I am not sure.
Thanks!

It is Chinese,
犬對雞
無道昏君是晉公為害趙
盾巧計生事洩急嗾守夜
奏打狗救主提彌明
Dog versus chicken (Strong vs. weak)
The unjust and incompetent Duke of Jin framed
a plot to kill Zhao Dun by an instigated dog, but
the night guard Ti Mimimg knocked it down, thus
saving his master's life.
Persons depicted,
Right,
晉靈公 Duke Ling of Jin
Middle,
提彌明 Ti Mimimg
Left,
趙盾 Zhao Dun

I would date it to the late 19th or early 20th century.

With regards,
I.Nagy
