Posted By: Bill H Fri, Feb 24, 2023 Looks like it might be a late Meiji-Taisho (ca 1900-1925) vase depicting the mythical "Demon-Queller" Shoki (Zhong Kui in China). The red writing on the foot may be a factory notation but I'll defer to others in this case. Also some dim impressions on the foot that may be characters, along with a dark outlined rectangular area like a stamp might make, none readable. |
