My paintings are inspired by feelings and emotions. When I feel happy I paint, when I feel sad I paint. I paint what I feel in the moment. Once entering my studio to work, I disconnect myself from the outside world. Emotions evoked in different situations are reflected in my creations. Moreover, my paintings provide a platform to expressively portray my intuitive feelings and experiences and thus tell the story of my life. This painting reflects the festive mood of Nepali culture during the performance of the masked dance. The actions, emotions and the performance act as a powerful platform to initiate my paintings from beginning to end. I delve deep into my feelings and perceive myself. From this I create individual works.
