The use of colour in my work is guided by intuitive actions, the primary components which feed into my work. The brushwork and spontaneity with which I approach colour channel the ambience in which painting is created. The river Bagmati in Kathmandu is the inspiration for this work. I completed this painting on site along the river; I forgot myself, and my emotions swiftly flowed with the rapidly flow of water. My hand guided the colours across the canvas. This work reveals the power of nature and its effect on the creative process. More than a mere statement, I wish the viewer to flow with my painting.
