Subject:Jade seal - translation of script.
Posted By: Corey Mon, Jan 06, 2014 IP: 193.169.154.71 Got this chinese jade seal that probably dates to the 18th-19th century. If someone here could translate the scripture, it would be awesome. |

Posted By: Corey Mon, Jan 13, 2014 I'm pretty sure the material is nephrite jade although I haven't made any testing of it exept scratch. I say khotan jade because its color and a slightly greasy feel. The color is light gray with two orange bands and a few rare lavender spots. It look way better in natural sunlght. It's rather opaque material though. |
