Subject:Netsuke - can anyone tell me about this piece?
Posted By: Anne-Marie Sun, Apr 28, 2019 IP: 72.69.155.159 I purchased this Netsuke at a thrift store in a bag of miscellaneous items for less than $3. I’m not sure of what material it is made or if it is a considered a good one. My husband thinks he sees grain in it but I don’t see it ...and I originally thought it was plastic. Is the bottom an actual signature or just some squiggles made to look like a signature? Any information given to me will be very much appreciated. Thank you! |
