Hi, I also got curious with this emaki mono and could not determine if this is original or a reproduction. Any clue to what this is?

Title,
Shakkyō Sanjurokkasen
Kanjuji Sojō Eikai-sen
Thirty-six Immortals of Buddhist Poetry
Compiled by *Eikai, High-priest of Kanjuji (Temple)

Inscription on lid,
Shakkyō Sanjurokkasen -
Thirty-six Immortals of Buddhist Poetry

The last 36th picture depicts Myoe-jōjin
- a poet, monk from the Kamakura period.
The artist's name reads,
Kasuga Kōna (Unidentifiable)

*Ekai 1278-1347 : Name of a priest of Shingon sect during the Namboku period.

During the subsequent centuries several written copies have been made from the original.
Your one is a printed copy from one of these written copies.

With regards,
I.Nagy
