1. Buddha Western Nepal Khasa Malla, 13th/14th century Gilt copper with paint 7 1/2 in. (19 cm) high

Detail: alternate view The broad face, stocky proportions, defined knuckles, and robe design are attributes of sculptures from the Khasa Malla kingdom, which extended across Western Tibet and Western Nepal between the 12th and 14th centuries.
