This panel - one of a well-known group from West Tibet - exhibits the stylistic features of the Newar tradition from the Kathmandu valley. Often thought to be from a later period, ca. 15th c, carbon dating of several of this group have confirmed the earlier date of ca. 13th c. Detail: 1 |
