While the color and texture of your jade piece did appear to be that of nephrite in your pictures, but I have reservations of calling its material nephrite because of all these white carving lines that were all over it. Usually this would be an indication that its material could be scratched by metal, otherwise these carving lines would not be white. I was surprised to see you said it could pass the scratch test. May be you should re-test it with a pocket knife or needle? Or perform a density test on it?
Also, based on the quality of its carving, I am having troubles in believing it would be anything but modern, probably made in the last 30 years. If it was indeed made in the last century, that it would be that of Qing dynasty which ended in 1911. I believe the possibility of that is simply low. Since I am not a jade expert, therefore I can indeed be wrong and I would like to apologize in advance. Super
