Hello Angela Brubeck,

To me it looks ivory you can see the Schreger lines on the left handle so it looks like elephant ivory. But as Gman points out in one of my posts there is a great financial incentive to fake that, he gives some great information;

You will find it towards the end of the comments. I wouldn't like to say it definitely is with out handling, but it does look like.
