Message 煙雪出没有無間 半有空虚半生山 我亦閑中消日月 幽林深處聴潺湲 大正丁巳春 華洞 Taishō era, Year of Fire Snake (1917) Spring Hwatong (Korean) Kadō (Japanese) Upper seal, 囗徳之印 - Seal of □tok ? Lower seal, 華洞 - Hwatong (Korean) - Kadō (Japanese) Snow clouds come and disappear in succession Half of them are emptiness and half of them are nascent mountains I am also lollig about day and night, only listening to the streams in the depth of forests This pseudonym cannot be found in any of the Japanese art-name/pseudonym dictionaries. In my opinion we are dealing with a Korean artist. Korean artists during the Japanese rule, used to use the Japanese era names in dating. Unfortunately, I can`t read the other seal, presumably with the family name of artist. With regards, I.Nagy Post a Response |
