real Buddha 12th century Bronze? |
Posted By: Peter Allen Posted Date: Sep 11, 2016 (10:14 PM) |
Message I bought this statue of the Buddha back in 1982, in Korat Thailand from a friend who was in the Thai RTAF (Air Force), and knew I liked antiques. It is 4 inches high and change. It had a wooden base it was glued to, but has since come off. The style is Khmer Bayon, and the style dates to 1177 to 1230 AD. In your opinions, is this the real deal? Thanks very much for your time. ![]() ![]() |
