Help Determining Authenticity- Chinese Jade Buddha

Hello! I am hoping you all can help point me in the right direction. My parents passed away and I have been going through their things over the past year. I have come across this Chinese Buddha that I am unsure if it is actually Jade. My parents were art collectors, but this piece is unfamiliar. It is heavy, cool and does scratch metal. What else should I look for to determine? Thank you in advance for your help!
