Help with mark on Chinese Mud Men? Figurines |
Posted By: Brett Posted Date: May 17, 2016 (09:23 PM) |
Message Hello all, I posted these on the other board but I realize that I made an error in the listing. Does anyone know what these are, or what the mark says? I saw some similar looking pieces that were described as mud men. There are finger prints on the clay inside, and pools of what looks to be glaze at the bottom. The marking is the same on both pieces, but the one shown in the pictures is more refined than the mark on the other piece. Someone told me on another board that these were recent, but I am not sure if that is correct. Hopefully someone can translate the mark or maybe help me figure out the name for pieces such as these. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Post a Response |
