Message Hi Luciano, This is from the same (Japanese) kiln... the Shida kiln. Dating ... probably around mid 19th. century. I'm not sure if that are ships. This wasn't "made" at Imari. In the 17th century they started to export porcelain made at Arita from the harbour of Imari to Europe. Thats why it's called Imari. Later on the colored ware (red/blue etc) became popular and they also started to call this "style" Imari. If you take a look at the picture you can see where the Arita harbour is situated.
