Message I need your help and knowledge to ID this bronze military medallion. I believe it is Japanese and pre-dates 1945. Measures 2 1/4" in diameter. The previous owner stated that he brought it back from Saipan during WWII. I've scoured the the web for information without success. I would appreciate any information I can get as to the date and nature of this striking medallion. Thanks in advance for your help and knowledge.
