| HELP Identifying a Necklace |

Message Hello, Can someone tell me about this necklace. It has a pendant that opens, What was it used for? Is it Chinese or Japanese? Age? The carved white beads are not ivory, not sure what the yellow and orange beads are but the orange beads are more brown than my photos show, could they be amber? The necklace is strung and hand knotted on silk. Thank you for any help!! Sara
