Message Hi all. I need to obtain a competent opinion about age and region of originally gilt bronze Avalokitesvara boddhisatva, seating on a lotus throne. Dark rich patina, traces of thick gilt and red dye under it, common style and workmanship, as well as provenance points to medieval Korea, at my sight. But I failed to find out close similarities of the pattern. Also, 清 character incused mark looks enigmatic. Thank you! https://mega.co.nz/#F!Jh5R0IIB Post a Response |
