Message This type of decoration with raised enamels is called "moriage" and was popular on japanese export wares from the late 19th century up to mid 20th century. It is often seen on crackeled earthenware, but your cup & saucer should be porcelain. A search in this forum, in the gotheborg.com glossary or google for the term will provide you with additional information. Cheers, Mat Post a Response |
