Message Hi Ernest, are you referring to Xinjiang? If so, I dont think it is difficult for the Chinese government to control its export. The price of jade has already gone up through the roof over the last 10 years. That is why I keep my hobby simple and purchase only what I can afford:) For example, I bought this interesting bird for a few tens of dollars, both as a paper weight and to study it closely. As the saying goes: you get what you pay for! (The Chinese saying is more apt: one cent for one cent's worth.) Cheers. |
