Black Nippon Pottery Candlestick Holder with relief Dragon design |
Posted By: James Wilson Posted Date: Jul 08, 2008 (07:31 PM) |
Message I have this piece of “Black Nippon Pottery” Candle Holder with relief Dragon. It is signed/marked with a signature/maker's mark, but I do not know what it says. Can anyone here translate it for me, or possibly refer me to someone that can? I will include what little information I have on the piece below. If anyone can add anything else, I would really appreciate it. Thanks. James Age: Made in Nippon era (1891 to 1921) Artist: Unknown Dimensions: 17.5 cm (6.85 inches) high x 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) wide |
