Unknown Japanese Vase |
Posted By: robert Posted Date: Jan 05, 2022 (10:43 AM) |
Message It's a ko-Kutani style porcelain vase or jar. The original ko-Kutani wares were made in the 17th century in and around Arita in Northern Kyushu. The red enamel mark appears to be a variant of the Fuku (good luck) mark that can be found on the originals. Your jar is probably from the Meiji period or later. Post a Response |
