Message A Chinese apocryphal four characters base mark 成化年製 - Chénghuà niánzhì - Made During the Chenghua Reign Reason for confusion could be that porcelains with marks imitating Chenghua marks of the Ming dynasty were made at the Japanese Arita/Imari kilns during the 19th century.
