HELP with recently acquired antique Asian art |

Message The front image shows the Hanshan Temple in Suzhou.(蘇州 寒山寺) On the back we can see the re-engraved version of the familiar inscription on a stone monument at the above temple. The famous poem titled "A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge"(楓橋夜泊) from the Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Ji(張継) is engraved on it. The engraved calligraphy originally was written by Yu Yue (愈越)late Qing Dynasty Confucian scholar and philologist. With regards, I.Nagy Post a Response |
