blue white "pencilled" style vase |
Posted By: Moira Posted Date: Jun 17, 2019 (09:24 AM) |
Message Hello everybody, If some of you would be so kind to help me finding out more about this vase. Height: 40 cm / 15.75". I'm no expert. For what it's worth, these are my own findings so far: - double gourd shape; - decorated in blue white "Pencilled" style (see for example: https://orientalceramics.com/product/vases/); - the glaze is partly affected at some places; - the base is glazed and has a shallow cut broad foot rim revealing buff-ware, without spiral pattern. Your expertise is greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
