Identification of Artist Signatures |
Posted By: I.Nagy Posted Date: Nov 18, 2017 (07:32 AM) |
Message Right bottom signature reads; 光經 Koukei I have found only one painter in Japanese name dictionaries with this art-name. His surname is Kamiya. 神谷光經 Kamiya Koukei. Born in 1883 in Toyama, year of death unknown, and he was a disciple of Kikuchi Keigetsu. The seal seems to be a combination of relief and intaglio carving. The other signature with high possibility reads, 大成 Daisei in Japanese reading Dacheng in Chinese reading For the being I could not find painter that fits the search conditions either in Japanese or in Chinese sources. With regards, I.Nagy Post a Response |
