Message Reading of inscription: 夢蝶 Dream Butterfly 庚辰年 Year of Metal-Dragon (2000) Signature： 果正 作 Painted by Guo Zhen Seal: 果正 Guo Zhen Under this name I couldn`t find painter in Chinese language net. Explanation to the title; It is an allusion to the widely known story in China which is called "Butterfly Dream of Zhuang Zhou. Zhang Zhou dreams of a butterfly or is it the butterfly dreaming of Zhang Zhou. Zhang Zhou (369-286 BC) was a Taoist author. With regards, I.Nagy Post a Response |
